FRP delaminates very fast whereas PVC does not:

is not suitable for damp interiors. The panels cannot arrest moisture. Instead, they absorb most of the humidity into the FRP boards through the backers behind. FRP Panels require mandatory backers made of (OSB, Drywall, or Plywood). The humidity and dampness enter the panels through the backers and reach the walls to damage both. FRP boards start delaminating within a few years of installation. The walls are affected by dampness due to the accumulation of mold and bacteria. 

PVC panels do not need backers during the installation process. The vinyl panels do now allow moisture to get into the panels and the walls. So, the walls are free from bacteria, mold, and mildew. The panels, as well as the walls, stay long-lasting. 

Get rid of regular cleaning: 

PVC ceiling panels and wall panels do not require regular maintenance. The panels take the least time to clean because the surface does not attract germs, bacteria, and impurities. We suggest washing the panels occasionally with light soap and water. FRP panels have a rigid and tough surface which is difficult and time-consuming to clean.
