When Harris shared a few pictures of his grow room with us, we were worried about seeing how the old panels were peeling off. FRP has backers not suitable for moisture-prone areas  – Install PVC instead

Now, let us go a little deeper into discussing how it works. FRP panels have backers that absorb plenty of moisture, and you already know how moist a grow room can be. The FRP boards swell and decompose on being exposed to heavy moisture. This dampness also travels into the walls causing permanent damage. Harris needs a waterproof solution like vinyl panels to save the walls from mold and mildew. PVC panels are ideal because they are 100% waterproof, having no backers at all. This keeps the panels and the walls dry and durable. You can say that the fiber-reinforced panel loses its waterproof nature due to the mandatory backers, whereas PVC is a completely water-resistant solution.

Low maintenance vinyl panels

Harris is now trying to repair his indoor growing facility because he had to make a lot of investment in setting that up. He feels that maintenance is a part, but he was looking for an affordable and longer-lasting solution. We assured him that our panels do not require regular and routine maintenance.
